Whether you've been painting on your own or never put a brush to canvas, join us for one-on-one instruction as you work from a photo of your choice.

Learn proper brush use and techniques as well as how to set up your painting, analyze and mix color, and be on your way to completing a work of art.

Bring the following painting supplies to the first class:
Stretched canvas any size 11x14" or larger
Palette paper (tablet)
Brushes - oil (1 each):
1” or 2” background brush
liner (20/0 or 30/0)
chisel tip blender or shader (1/4” or smaller)
wisp brush (1/4” or smaller)
small fan brush
soft bristle brush 2, 4, & 8
hard bristle brush 2, 4, & 8
round, soft 2 & 4; flat, soft 2 & 4
Palette knife
Small, empty glass with lid (baby food or jelly)
Rag to clean brushes
A photo of your choice from which to paint

Additional supply fee: $3.50, payable to the instructor at the first class.paint brushes
